Purpose of National Institute of Technology

National Institute of Technology is a higher educational institution to cultivate engineers society needs, which accepts junior high school graduates offering a five-year integrated educational program.

National Institute of Technology was established for the development of industry and a high-level education on science and technology in Japan.

On five years of well-balanced specialized programs emphasizing experiments and practice, students will have acquired approximately the same level of expert knowledge and practical manufacturing skills as that provided by a four-year university curriculum.

Also, the Advanced Course is established for graduates. The aim of the Advanced Course is to educate students to be engineers with a broad perspective and more specialized knowledge.

National Institute of Technology, Numazu College has produced high-quality engineers for about 50 years since establishment, supporting Japan known as a manufacturing country.
