Contests

Students of National Institute of Technology, Numazu College have been developing the robot for the contest with ideas and technology on given issues.This is educational event that allows students to experience the fascination of designing and building a robot by themselves.The developed robot will compete in the Tokai Hokuriku district conference. The goal of Robocon Club , won the district conference, is to participate in the national convention.

In the Programming Circle in National Institute of Technology, Numazu College, the members organize the teams by themselves and participate in one of the three divisions (Problem Division, Free Division and Competition Division) in the National Kosen Programming Contest under instruction of supervisors. The contest consists of two sections, the preliminary round and the final round. In the final round, the winner will be honored with the Minister of Education Award or Young Programmer Encouragement Award from IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan)

We are participating in “three dimensional digital competition for design and 3D-printing”. Students are making up a team with interested member and responsible teacher, and they are putting great effort into the subject by using different techniques to CAD and 3D printer.

So far, many students have participated in the preliminary contest in the Tokai-Hokuriku district and got qualified to make a speech at this national contest. The champions of the preliminary contest in 2011, 2012, and 2014 are all from Numazu College, and they made an excellent speech at the nationals.
